When we live in a familiar environment for too long, it is difficult for us to recognize our own problems with the surrounding environment. Therefore, I often pretend I am not from here so that I can travel and explore life and the living environment of my own city. A vision with a different point of view has brought me variety of unexpected results. Through numerous visual art projects I have investigated Hanoi – where I was born and grew up.

Có lẽ khi sống quá lâu trong một môi trường, con người ta thường khó nhận ra các vấn đề của mình cũng như môi trường sống quanh mình. Chính vì thế tôi thường sử dụng con mắt của một người nước ngoài để đi du lịch và khám phá cuộc sống, môi trường sống vốn quen thuộc của chính mình. Với một cái nhìn khách quan, hay một tầm nhìn khác đã mang đến cho tôi những kết quả bất ngờ thông qua những dự án nghệ thuật thị giác tôi thực hiện khảo sát ở Hà nội – thành phố nơi tôi sinh ra và lớn lên.
